I will remember my Dad as a kind and gracious man who was always there for me and my family. He would offer any support he could and encourage me to always do my best. There are many happy memories and stories which I will treasure of my Dad. He was always there for me throughout my life and would help at the drop of a hat whether it was looking after my daughter, financial support and of course many words of advice. I remember a particular day Dads help was invaluable when me and my family moved house in June 2009. It was one of the hottest days of the year, Dad and his good friend Rob worked tirelessly all day without stopping to make sure everything was moved and we were settled in our new home. It was an extremely physical day but Dad was strong and reliable as ever. I can honestly say my Dad would have helped anyone who ever asked no matter what it was. His kindness shone through even when his health was deteriorating, he would always say 'thank you' when we helped him. My Dad was an honest and gentle man with traditional family values, we will miss him dearly and always love him. Dad, you're always in our hearts. Lots of love, Alison, Kris, Kate and Theo x
